In projects where a site is being acquired we often input on the structuring of the agreement with the current land owner to make sure that each project works for all stakeholders and to maximise the likelihood of our borrower client coming out in pole position. Furthermore, we often assist our borrower clients to build their team by folding the right professionals in, whether that is to obtain a planning approval, produce construction costings and appoint the contractor, project manage the scheme or put insurance in place.   

HOW WE WORK

  1. Immediate verbal opinion on the basis of verbal information. This stage is absolutely crucial in determining whether a deal is viable and optimising the gearing for your particular situation and objectives. If you are buying a site this stage informs the offer you put to the vendor and the way you structure your offer.

  2. Formal written opinion on the basis of your development cost appraisal. Upon your submission of a development cost appraisal we will swiftly write back to you with formal opinion on the structuring of the finance and set out the bespoke fact find.

  3. Submission by you of bespoke fact find items. Once the fact find items are in we then obtain terms and work with you through loan completion and onwards through the life of the project and beyond into the future.
